Various latching functions operated by key outside and by urnknob or key inside. Locks automatically when door is closed. For all nightlatch functions specify primary lock eg 3570SC. This lock can then be easily adapted to suit function required.

Short backset, swinging-bolt deadlocks suitable for narrow stile hinged doors. Positive action deadbolt locked or unlocked by either key or turnknob. Suitable for sliding doors where lock can be mounted to door jamb and deadbolt engages strike mounted to face of door.

591 Short Backset Sliding Door Deadlocks
Short backset, swinging-bolt deadlocks suitable for narrow stile sliding doors. Positive action deadbolt is notched to engage and lock into a latching strike when the bolt is in the thrown position. Deadbolt is locked or unlocked by either key or turnknob.
